The car will most likely tell why it's dead- ie light left on, draw etc. Worst case they'll be in the fuse box, techs don't dig for no reason. Esp when there's no pay involved....

I worked at a dealer for 4 years.... You never know.

All he had to do was go to his car where it was parked and take it out.

If done correctly the car would have looked unscathed.
