dont know whats wrong.

when im driving and i give it gas in 6th gear my rmp starts to stutter and u can hear the intake stutter as well. any idea whats making it happen. cant be injectors changed those. only happens before 2000 rpm after its perfect

I hope its not 6th gear WOT at low RPM? It's not good to load up that gear like that.

Just what I was thinking! I bet mine would stutter too in 6th under 2000 rpm.

know of a guy that did this in an EVO and blew his motor (flooring it top gear)

The ECU is not stupid, you can WOT in any gear.

I go WOT in 6th gear all the time, and it stays smooth.

Pretty sure if I was under 2k rpm in 6th my whole car would shutter and shake and make unpleasant sounds.

WOT at even 1.5k rpm should be fine, the turbo starts spoiling starting at 1.3k rpm.
