Power steering pump replacement

Hi all.

I've already asked about power steering pump replacement, but this is a bit more general question to it.

1. I was recommended to use Bosch, but it seems tricky to get Bosch for normal price. What do you think about MEYLE pump?

2. What about Fuchs Titan CHF 11S?

3. Without disassembling car, what are you bets for things around the power steering pump that I should consider changing as well? (Garage that I can use is 100km from where I live. It is better to have more parts than disassemble sth and wait for several days... ) Reservoir? Pulley? Are they good bets for the preventive change? In one video, guy recommended changing power steering feed line hose clamp. Any idea how to find part number for it?

Thanks!

Is your pump broken? If so, find a used OEM part in good condition. If not - why bother? I don't see anything wrong with the Meyle pump.

"2. What about Fuchs Titan CHF 11S?"

Does your car call for CHF 11S fluid? This Fuchs fluid seems to be just a generic CHF 11S spec fluid, so get any.

"3. Without disassembling car.."

Definitely change the reservoir, it has sieve in it that clogs up. I had strange hissing sound coming from the steering wheel which drove me mad, so I changed the steering rack and the check valve (all original parts, the rack was used but very good). The hissing was noticeably less but not completely gone. So maybe change the high pressure line from pump to rack. As for feed line hose clamp - it is a low pressure line, no need to change, it will never leak, but you can use worm gear clamps.
