Need help identifying interior trunk boot rivet parts

Hello all!

I'm looking for the anchor or bracket name for the flap that allows for access to the taillight bulbs. Providing a pic for reference. I have the rivets already, but unfortunately, the bracket or anchor that allows for the rivet to be locked into place to pin the taillight flap back on fell inside the bumper.

Can someone kindly advise the name, or better still, a link to where it can be (reasonably) bought someplace other than the stealership? Sorry the one pic is obnoxiously huge, forgive me.

Many thanks.

If you don’t care if they are the screw kind, they are super cheap on Amazon for push in rivets. You unfortunately will end up with way more than you need, though.

For the real deal, it’s part number 51478248015. It’ll be cheap from the dealer too, but just not as cheap as the Amazon ones.

Nice discussion about maintenance and upgrades, especially for keeping things running smoothly long term. While browsing https://casinosanalyzer.com/free-slots-online/Fruit-Zen , I was reminded how a relaxed, steady approach often works best.

You can never have too many plastic rivets (aka, button clicky things). Amazon is telling me that I "last bought" that exact set earlier this month...for my Toyota ostensibly (a vehicle that uses dozens of those things to hold on nearly every imaginable part), but they'll get used on the BMW, Volvo, Honda as well. Something there for everyone.

The link above with the full kit is very helpful. Probably a better option that the genuine push clips.

I think the original question was specifically about the part that it pushes into. Weirdly these part numbers don't seem to be listed for the E90. Not sure what's going on there. But I think the part number you're looking for is 51711916199, that's the back portion that the clip goes into. I think that's what's in the first picture, but maybe the inner tabs are broken on it?

Yes, that’s what it would be on my e91, albeit in a different location. I totally misread the question as to what he as referring to.

A visit to your local junk yard should solve that problem as well.
Otherwise here is a Amazon link for just those

Or search Trunk Luggage Compartment & Sill Trim Retainer for BMW 51-47-1-945-266
