DATAZAP ANALYSIS N54 - Throtle closure

Hello guys,

I'm Damien from France.

I currently have a 335I N54 MT with 90K miles.

I have done a WOT recently, but as you may see, I have big throtle closure.

here is the datazap :

What do you guys think?

The car has no tune but:
-FMIC WAGNER EVO 1
-DOWNPIPES
-Sport air filter BMC.
-PCV valve RB
-Walnutblasted 2KKM ago

Hello,

throttle closures happens when your boost is over target, it's the dme that closes the throttle to keep you on target or a bit under target

I think it's probably normal,maybe it's because you have upgraded parts, stock tune and boost come too easy ! Time to flash a tune (you can flash Stage 2+) to enjoy your mods

i was thinking about going on stage 1 e50 on MHD.

Considering I have OEM Injectors and HPFP.
What do you think, isnt't it to risky?

Stage 2 on 91 or 93 or e30 would be better. You have the Downpioes and FMIC needed so you’ll get more power this way without going beyond the limits of your fuel system.

yep e50 is probably too much

oem fuel system probably ok up to E30

like whyzee125 said, going from OEM tune to Stage 2 will be a good difference

First time I have seen someone with all the bolts on's but no tune. Did you buy the car modded ?
If I were you i would start with the petrol maps. either 91 or 93 depending on the fuel you have there.
V7 is my favourite. V9 is good too.
You have the mods to use the stage 2+ maps if you want. Stage 1+ is really good too.
See how it feels and if the car is happy. (Logs).
Then introduce ethanol if everything looks strong

I have decided to put parts on, then tune it.
but I will follow your advice. stage 1+ ron map.

Just going to fix that slightly for ones benefit. Boost is the resultant after closures if any
