How rare are N54 E90 LCI M-Sports..
I barely see any e90 lci m-sports on the road.
And when i do, from the sound of the exhaust , there n55's.. So anyone have any idea how long did e90 lci msports with n54 were available ? |

If anything, N55 ones are rarer.

How did you make that conclusion? Just interested to know why. As seems both engines were in the E90 LCI's for 1 year. And i think before 2010 was over N55's were being put in E90 LCI, so cut the time shorter for N54's? I live in NY and work in NYC, and i rarely see them, so i was thinking to myself how rare are they in general. Quote:
Not sure, like i mentioned, i work in NYC and live in NY, i rarely see them at all. I see more M3's, M5's then i do E90 LCI M-sports. Met a few owners and they were N55 equipped. Got me thinking, especially when i was at a AMG meet and a few guys said they never seen M-sport like my car. |

I have only spotted 2 pre-lci 335s with Msport here in Pittsburgh. Seen a few LCIs but unsure if N55 or N54...

2010 N54 2011 N55 But M-sport actually wasn't an option until 03/09 production, so it wasn't available for the full run of the 2009 model year. Still, there should be more E90 LCI M-sport with N54 based on the model years. Of course this would vary depending on the sales figures for each year and specifically on the take rate of the M-sport package, but we don't have that data at our disposal.

The N54 E90 LCI 335's are definitely rare. I was lucky enough to come across a 2010 at a dealer in SoCal so I purchased it the next day and got rid of my 07 E90 335i. I've been searching for 335's for my buddy who wants one and I couldn't find any 09-10' E90 M-sport and it made me realize how rare this car is. It's funny you posted this thread cause I think several people have been thinking the same thing. Every owner that has one is holding on to it I'm guessing because the car fcking rocks!! I plan on keeping my car around in my garage for many many years to come.

I've seen a couple, but I do consider them rare...specially with a manual. I've only seen one with a manual and I bought it =)

Rare as a hen's tooth, particularly with a manual trans. Doesn't BMW publish production numbers after a vehicle is no longer offered for sale new?

No they publish them after a certain number of years, not sure how many years but a friend was telling me about how there is some law were they are forced to publish the numbers after like 10 years or something. I could be totally wrong though.
