I know there is a guy here that runs e46 M3 transmission mounts on his automatic e92.
But was wondering what the rest of you run with the 6AT?

Might want to look into the UUC Transmission Mount bushings kits. They have 3 levels of stiffness available. Street, Enthusiast and Race. We've sold a few so far since becoming a dealer.

I felt no increase in NVH with these. They prob arent the stiffest mounts available, but are far more stiffer than oem. A nice upgrade.

The UUC mounts are a good price too. I may go with the medium stiffness ones and see how they feel. I DD my car so they may be too noisy for me.

I replaced my oem tranny mounts around 45k miles with RE mounts. I noticed zero increase in noise or vibration. However, I also felt the performance gain was minimal as well. I did this mostly as preventative maintenance.

For an automatic trans, there will be no difference that you can feel on streets unless you are replacing the bushings on the rest of the drivetrain (diff, engine, etc.)

Significant. My stock bushings didn't appear to be worn out, but I would get a really horrible drivetrain shake that felt like wheel hop when I spun my tires. The trans bushings totally eliminated it. I already have solid diff and subframe bushings, but the trans bushings didn't add any new noise. Honestly, I have very little NHV with all the upgraded bushings anyway. Really the only thing I get is clunking from the differential.
