Tail Light, Trunk Codes
So I went and had my Performance Exhaust put on today. Pretty awesome start to the day. 5-6 hours later I try to get into my trunk and it won’t open with the fob or from the outside with the key. Valet lock is set to open. Also at the same time my car brought up the check control codes, left reverse lamp malfunction, left tail lamp malfunction, and left stage two brake light. A few weeks ago as well my trunk light started turning on when I closed the trunk and off on opening. So it’s a real pain knowing I could change my own bulbs if the trunk would open. I also get the Trunk Open warning when I’m driving even though it doesn’t. Any help would be appreciated. I looked at the fuse diagram but I’m not sure which one would control the valet trunk switch. I might just take it to the dealer Thursday, but I know they’ll hit me just to diagnose the problem and then the cost of whatever is causing the trunk to malfunction. I’m certainly not paying them to change the bulbs out, but I’ll probably just buy them there.

I used to get a trunk open message on my 135i while I was driving. It never was open, I always thought it was the latch switch going bad. Hope that helps in some type of way lol
