Windows and Sunroof automatically opened???

My car's windows and sunroof automatically opened just when I started up the car, this has happened to my car 3x already. My car is like possessed! I couldn’t find any answer online and reading the manual! Help?

You don't happen to have RemoteKey+ installed, do you? When I did, apparently, I clicked the unlock button 3 times and it opened the sunroof. As for stock, that's another problem

It must be a feature, I know that if you press and hold the unlock button on the remote your windows and sunroof will open, you can also control how far they open by releasing the button at the desire position.

This is a known problem with 33x cars, it's water intrusion into the driver's side window module, which is the master for all the openings. It can also happen when the car is just sitting...

Take it to the dealer, they will probably replace the module and re-seal it. There is an updated module and a SIB on this.

Happened to me last year, took 3 visits to finally get the dang thing replaced properly.

Count yourself lucky. There was some poor shlub had it happen to him in a pouring rainstorm, while he was at work. Came out and the interior was like a swimming pool. I think BMW eventually bought the car back from him.

Fortunately, mine always opened up while it was in the garage.
