Maybe not - the longer he goes unpaid, the more mileage he's accruing at a notoriously rough, short lived, and expendable position.

Negative.

It'll be a good game. The game should be a Pick Em.

the bears continue to struggle offensively with the coaching staff unable to make the right changes/adjustments to improve, same problems as last season, poor o-line and poor rushing, we sign a big time RB like barber yet continue to use forte who we all know cannot run downhill (3rd and 4th & short), it would be nice to see barber just get a few more carries and our WR's are nullified if we cannot protect the qb and establish a running game (although our WR's are mediocre at best)...not to mention martz's antiquted offense he continues to use and lovie continues to put his faith into it...pass rushing is pathetic it's no wonder our secondary is getting lit up every week....

looks like another long heart breaking season for our bears......

I honestly think lovie and martz need to go...maybe even tice...

I honestly don't think martz is the absolute problem. Tice needs to go for sure, his O line blows goats. Angelo needs to go also, his drafting has been sub par at best. lovie, well i feel the same way about him as he does about life, no emotion. I could care less if he stays or goes but if he stays he needs to learn how to effectively challenge a play.

The reason they use forte is because NOBODY can run downhill with this line. You saw barber try 3-4 times up the middle, I think he gained 3 yrds on his best attempt. The holes aren't there and thats why you see forte cut it to the outside for 20-30 yrd gains a few times a game.

I don't think I've ever seen Cutler play that well. Maybe I have, but I can't think of any one game off the top of my head. A lot of those big plays he made were after his offensive line shat all over him. You guys need receivers.

Also, I was a bit surprised you guys seemed to bail on the running game. You were gashing yardage from the OT runs and I expected that to continue.

^thank martz....

agreed regarding the o-line being the biggest problem...which is now effecting our d-line as well....defense is spending way too much time on the field and we are getting abused on both sides now....terrible

This is not the same Bears team we saw on Monday. I didn't expect you guys to handle Peterson, but damn looks like you guys finally got your shit together on D.

seems the adjustments at safety did well, and prevented the "big plays", even saw a few safety blitz's....not bad..

Hester had an excellent game with another kick-off return, almost had a punt return if his own man would have gotten out of the way....he left early with a chest injury, hope it's nothing serious....

O-line played well, I think it was a good move to drop down some extra help to the o-line in some of the early plays to help contain those fresh pass rusher legs....

Defense did well in containing "mr fantasy football rb" AP....

RW actually had a few catches...hoping Bennett comes back soon as that can only improve the offense @ WR if this o-line holds up...

not going to celebrate this win too much as it was against a struggling MN, just like the win against Carolina, we are supposed to win these games IMO...

hopefully we continue to improve...

Good job Bears. Hope the o-line can keep up the good work. When Jay has more than .5 seconds to make a decision, good things happen. Great play all around for the Bears.

nice to see Urlacher looking spry for a season again... he probably doesn't have too many left.

still a dumb move, with the amount of injury to the secondary we've had in the last 5yrs or so (mostly to harris ironically) we should have kept him on as a backup. as bad as it sounds I hope the case was we told him that and he just decided to quit so we did him a favor by releasing him.

The guy is seriously off his game right now. He needs to take a time out to clear his head or properly heal from injuries. Glad he's gone. I prefer both rookie safeties. I know they'll soon start getting burnt pretty bad, but at least they'll bring energy, and spunk.

I agree he's been off his game but he's gonna play better than Anthony Walters and I'd argue he's probably less risky of a pick than Meriweather back there. Again, my concern isn't the starting job, its who plays then when the starters get hurt. We're gonna rely on Craig Steltz? Trust me I think Wright will be good and I really love what I've seen out of Conte but again... injury.

another MNF..let's hope it's not a repeat performance of our last MNF game...

We need our LB's to contain both MV and LS and our pass rush hopefully shows up to pressure and hit MV a few times...also need some serious effot from our o-line to get MF running early and JC some pass protection...is Bennett back this game? Just read GC had full participation today as well...

MNF redemption....great game, despite the two fumbles by Forte...Barber proved his worth, O-line showed up...defense played tough, especially our middle LB's showing why they are pro bowlers....and welcome back Earl Bennett....

Detroit next (hopefully for more redemption)...let's go
