code clearing with JB3??
will the JB3 ever be able to read and clear codes like the Procede? Because I am seriously contemplating switching over to procede because it seems like it is more advanced... (am i wrong?)

i know that but will it be able to do it by itself without a bt scan tool like the procede? and what about map switching.. will the jb3 get past it's pedal map switching without a bms boost gauge or a rix boost gauge?

It behooves you to get the scanner and use it (to make 100% sure you are safe) since you seem paranoid about codes

you are correct. The offset in cost to switch would benefit you more to just get a BT scan tool.
Yea, the procede has code clearing, but i like the ability to help others and be able to scan the car without the JB3 installed. Versatility of the BT Scan tool vs. procede solidified me going with JB3. |

we had some problems with the BT tool when we where going to find what caused a vanos problem, the BT didn´t find anything, but the DIS system found the code.
I was told that the BT cable wasn't upgraded with all codes, is this possible? |

The code reading/clearing comes in really handy... I also love that you can run a USB cable into the glovebox, and never open your hood again to do updates and changes. -Rick |

The only way you will know what tune you will like is try it out, heck if you don't like Procede, you can sell it and recover most of your money since its the newest version and its hot right now...

well i haven't made the decision yet because i don't have money to blow just to get the procede and try it out, but i just like the idea that the procede is more advanced and i used to have a BT scan tool and i wasn't very impressed with it for the price.. so i'm still on the fence right now..
