OCC

Hi everyone! Newbie over here.

I got my first BMW (2008 335xi Twin Turbo). It is stock and I am going to put a OCC.
I was wondering whether the OCC should have a breather or be sealed. – Not sure what route to take. What I understand is that a sealed OCC keeps the vacuum system intact while separating oil and vapors, but having the breather makes sense as it would dissipate excessive pressure under high throttle so the oil actually stays in the can. What I am not sure is:

a) Does a breather mess up the system and create failures down the line under any throttle?.
b) Where would you place the OCC? It seems a little tall with the filter.

Your thoughts will be very much appreciated.

Keep it sealed for emissions compliance and odor control! The BMS OCC kit is fully closed loop. I saw they also released a new vacuum side BMS OCC setup to cover both sides. Looks sweet!
