Didn't think anybody did them yet, I'd give it a while for the ECU to be cracked. You could always get a spider box, or wait for one the US piggyback vendors to come out with a solution.

Interesting thread here, guys -- just stumbled on to it. Makes for an excellent read.
Sal, I saw you offered the Mars bar already, but I had a question other than the 'no parameters on the screen capture' answer provided earlier. Re: your dyno chart earlier in the post... Just wondering why: 1) your hp/tq curves cross at 4900 and not 5250 (or if they were extrapolated past redline, would look like they would cross at 5250); and 2) the curves bend back on themselves to 4825rpm (tuned) and 4700rpm (stock) after max rpm of 4900 (tuned) and 4975 (stock), respectively? The hp/tq figures are bang on in the lower-mid rpm range, but quickly lose their mathematical relationship above 4750-4800 rpm? Regards Duey

Hi All,
New to the site so please go easy. I have a e92 335d and am looking to get it remapped. Please can you guys tell me more about these remapping methods? I have heard that Viezu Technologies are good, please can you give me you opinions? Also do you guys recommend changing the air filter to something other than stock? Cheers, Trigs |

Stock filter flows well. A aftermarket flows better. Cone is a little excessive and can cause heat soak etc!
What year month is your 335d?

No, not at the moment. I like yourself have pondered this question for a long time and still have not made up my mind as to who to use. I thought that the K&N filters weren't that good because the holes were too big and in turn let in a load of crap also?
Any opinion about Viezu? aka chipped uk? |

Evolve E-Maps P-Torque all offer remaps and all have good reputations. The list is not exhaustive. Viezu Technologies -I'd never heard of them until you mentioned them, which is strange as you seem to know nothing of any of the above. Chipped UK - Didn't enjoy the best of reputations if I recall correctly, so if Viezu and Chipped UK were/are one of the same I personally would not use them. Does that help? |
