Upgrading need help
Ok well I’m doing some upgrades on my suspension. I drive a 2008 335I with stage two+ Performance upgrades. 100k miles. I ordered st xta coilovers and trw 11 piece m3 control arms so far. I’m thinking of doing m3 sub frame bushing but worry about how much work I have to do. But I can do it. I’m thinking about upgrading the sway bars but not sure it’s worth it.
Now I’m also wanting to upgrade the rear control arms but not sure it would be worth it? I’m even thinking about a lsd. I know what’s my budget? I really don’t have one. But I only have a good mechanic for 2 to 3 days to help me. With the parts I already have I’m OK spending another 3 to 4K. I kind of live in the middle of nowhere. So I need to make sure I have all the parts I need before I start my project. I know there is little things I’m going to forget so I’m reaching out to you guys to see what other little items I should replace while I have the mechanic with me. What else would you replace while I’m doing this project? Thxs for your help. |

The 11 piece TRW has the rear control arms. Check out some aftermarket adjustable toe arms.
Look into upgrading the mounts for rear shock and also refresh the front mount if using stock. |

I would get that LSD in there.. It makes a world of difference.. Probably more so than the suspension.. It would just be best to have both. I have the Wavetrac LSD in mine, havent upgraded the suspension at all yet.

Here is what I installed yesterday. Thanks for ur input. Need to put some miles on the car but after it was aligned I'm very happy. I will do a review and update in a couple of weeks to keep everyone updated
