Need chargepipe with room for Dinan CAI
I bought a VRSF n54 chargepipe. It swings out towards the inner fender too much to be compatible with the Dinan CAI.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket chargepipe that is 1.5" away from the inner fender or more? Last edited by dangdude; 10-25-2018 at 08:11 AM.. |

Bump--does anyone have a charge pipe that is 1.5" or more away from the drivers side painted inner fender, more like the stock plastic pipe?

I run an ER charge pipe with the Dinan CAI. It all fits but I am using the stock dv's. 1 of them is very very close to the strut tower./wall

Thank you neilvan! I am also using stock DVs. I can see in pics that the ER pipe is much straighter than the VRSF pipe and the relocated PS reservoir hoses have plenty of room. Time to get an ER charge pipe.

Followup: I installed an ER charge pipe. I installed the OEM DV 2009+ "long" version on a 2007 n54. The ER CP bends back towards the engine more, leaving lots of room for the relocated PS hoses. The angled front DV outlet worked great with the OEM DVs. I like the ER CP quite a bit. Thanks for the solution!
