Multiple Warning Lights
A couple days ago I was coming home from work and accidentally ran over a 2X2 block of wood with my front passenger wheel. Initially, the active steering became inactive and was trying to initialize, then eventually malfunctioned. I stopped and turned the car off, and then on again; which seemed to fix the problem.
Since then, I put 200+ miles on the car with no lights, including driving today. Today, my mom got into the car and I didn't make it 100 feet before my dashboard lit up. I got the following lights/faults: DBC Malfunction, Flat Tire Monitor Malfunction, Active Steering, Start-off assistance, and DSC malfunction. I don't know if this has any relevance, but I replaced the number 57 fuse in attempts to fix my central door locks (turned out to just be a dead key). I bought the correct fuse from the dealership, but could this be a cause of the malfunctions? I read on here the it could be anything from the module, the wheel speed sensor, or the wheel alignment. Just need a second opinion. Last edited by 19bmwg05; 10-22-2018 at 10:54 PM.. |

For the heck of it check your battery. If the voltage drops too low the dash will light up like a Christmas tree. Autozone and others can do a free load test.
