As long as your muffler looks like the top pic Anthony posted, you're fine. If you have that muffler with no indented lines on it, you got the fake one.

BTW, I called Anthony about this too. He's literally pulling his hair out over the situation, and he's concerned with his customers although the situation is one that IND can't necessarily solve and may not be able to solve.

I asked Anthony about my mufflers andSR pipes, and he said this:

1. Eisenmann never made a "Meisterschaft" series of muffler. Only a "Race" or "Sport." What you see below is the genuine "Race" version from Eisenmann":

See how the muffler looks flat, ribbed, and similar in appearance to the OEM muffler?

The next picture showing the smooth muffler is the fake, that Eisenhaus labeled as the "Sport" or "Race" muffler:

Anthony said the fakes are not entirely composed of stainless steel internally like the genuine mufflers, and the hangars are made from mild steel.

2. Eisenmann never made an "SR" pipe. So it seems that altough I have the genuine Race mufflers by Eisenmann, I have a set of intermediate pipes that were made in Korea (or somewhere in Asia). Anthony said that he's 99% sure they're fake, but he said that since they're stainles steel, there should be any problems like the fake mufflers may experience down the road. I opened mine out of the wrapper a few minutes ago, and they seem to be constructed fine and the welds look good. I doubt that Eisenhaus would let me return them either, if that was what I wanted.
