Anyone know how to download a video from YouTube so that it can be saved as say a wmv or mp4 file & played on a PC?

The videos are in flash format with a .flv extension and will play in VLC media player:

Download the file & can now play it with the flv player.

Any idea how to convert the flv file to wmv etc?

I use "Total Video Convertor". Great for banging things onto the iPhone.
