No worry about paint. I can get BWM certified body shop to paint our group buy. Since it's not only the color match, it's also how you primer it to prevent rock chip. We are talking about group buy of $1000 worth of "front" bumper.

You guys still don't have pricing? I can help you guys out if you want...$900 for the bumper alone + shipping. I'm assuming the other parts can be obtainted through Tischer?
EDIT: billspreston says he already got a good price...so Im outta here...good luck guys! Last edited by Gen_E92; 06-18-2008 at 10:01 PM.. |

Still working on things guys, sit tight. The bumper is not DOT approved so dealerships don't want to ship the bumper to us as they can be held liable... blah blah blah. Because of this, we've got to find a solid middle man who doesn't care about the liability to handle the logistics of obtaining the kits and getting them to us, which is where the extra costs get introduced. |

Be careful man...alot of the people on this board will flake on you.
I tried to sell my E92 Mtech bumper with ALL the brackets/fogs/mesh/etc for $950 local with free installation or $1150 shipped...and all I got was a bunch of low ball responses that wanted it repainted for that price with free shipping. I know the list has 20+ people that are apparantely Ok with spending $1k for primered piece + shipping, but when push comes to shove...I predict you get alot of excuses of why they can no longer get it. Good luck man....I hope you get a good price and people stick with you. Your car will look sick with this one on!

UPDATE
I've changed routes with my approach. Getting the front bumper and all the extra small parts is proving to be difficult and expensive. I've been looking into full m-tech kits and surprise surprise - the entire kit is only about 25% more expensive than buying the front bumper and all the small parts individually. When I get some solid quotes & lead times in from my contacts I will update you guys and probably start a group buy for Full Kits, Rears & Sides as well (yes this means you PDC rear people) as these kits will probably need to be pieced out to sell everything. |
