Passenger Airbag Sensor Issue
Question: Is there any way to make it so that the passenger airbag is always on without replacing the seat sensor?
Full story: Hi, this is my first time posting! I recently had warning lights come on for the airbags in my 2008 328i convertible. The passenger airbag is now permanently off. I was told that it was the sensor in the seat. All of the mechanics I have called said that that could not do it but when I called the dealership they said it would be $1900+ which is really just too much for me rn. Is there any workaround for that or way to make it so that the passenger airbag is constantly on (I never have kids or anything in the passenger seat so that is not an issue)? |

There are many places that make a bypass sensor for this.
