The light output on all our BMW Angel Eyes is the same, it is a very close match to your OEM Xenons. Some pictures do look different to others but in real life these do look the business! As for your PRE-LCI E92, as long as your current Angel Eye bulb is H8 fitment then you can go for any of the below: - http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/H8-led Of course the 40W is the brightest option and tends to fill the rings a little better and currently it is our most popular one with it being 40W and the latest version. As for the ballasts they all come with these across our entire range. The 40W however does come with an additional two smaller ballasts what can be used in case you get radio interference from the LEDs, but I have yet to hear from a customer who has had to use these. But they are there if you do need them. I hope that helps. Cheers Quote:
As for the pics, the more the better as we really want to see how they look against different models and colours etc... Quote:
Again email as above. Thanks guys! |

If there isn’t then it throws up bulb errors on the dash, its how the CANBUS Error system works on newer cars. Now because the LEDs can technically run on very low voltage they start to cause this flicker when its testing the system as small currents are shooting through the cars wiring. But when they car is fully started and the alternator is charging and the lights are switched on they eventually get full 12V power so they stay on constantly after that. This won’t cause any damage to the LED bulbs though. I must stress though that not all models of BMW flicker, its only some of them it even depends on the other options you have on your car such as the Sat Nav, Bluetooth kits etc... every car is different and I can't tell you exactly until you've tried them in your own cars. The flicker only lasts a few seconds thats all. They will not flicker when the car is driving or started, only when the CANBUS system runs checks. There are a few people who have coded their cars differently to avoid this by going deep into the ECU etc... but we don't get involved in this side of things nor do we recommend it, as its only a few seconds of flicker upon unlocking the doors/startup. And its a rather dim flicker from what I have seen. I hope that explains it all? |

Mine arrived this morning in the post and are already in the car ! 1st impressions are good - not quite as bright as I expected but was limited to the 20W. Also bear in mind that it's lovely and sunny out there so my perception may change when it gets dark. All in all a good upgrade, just a pain that you have to remove wheels and arch liners to get at them but managed it in my lunch hour (ish )

Hi All,
Check out what arrived in the office today... we are probably the only UK supplier who has this product and I can say that very confidently: - These are our new Plug & Play CREE-XML Fog Lights and they will be available in H8, H10, H11, HB3/9005 & HB4/9006 fittings. At the moment we only have H8 in stock ready to ship and we will begin pre orders soon on our website. They won't take more than a week to arrive, apart from the H8 which we already have. These are a brand new and innovative CREE-XML Fog Light kit and are simply plug and play. They are Canbus friendly and come with the ballasts too. These are designed to match our BMW Angel Eye Kits, therefore they will nicely match any OEM BMW Xenon lights and 5000-6000K HID Kits. Each bulb has a patented lens/tip on the edge to disperse the exact light output/beam as OEM fog lights but of course in a brighter and longer distance as you can see in the pictures of the current F Series BMW along with a VW Golf MK5. Also it comes with a 2-Year warranty just like our BMW Angel Eyes! Comments and questions are welcome. The link will be posted once these are on the website. Thanks, Horizon LEDs Last edited by HorizonLEDs; 03-06-2014 at 12:10 PM.. |

Ok I give up how the hell do you fit these in an E93. I gave up after an hour and half with knuckles in shreds.
Cannot get the bulbs to lock in place for some reason. Is there a knack I'm missing? |
