I have added +MUEB to the VO and FA_WRITE to both CAS and NFRM module.

I'm getting error code A8B2/A8B3. If I've understood correctly these error codes are related to right/left rear indicators. The indicators are also flashing fast, both right and left.

I have checked in INPA that my FRM module actually is a FRM2 (FRM70). I have also re-read the CAS and FRM/NFRM module to check if +MUEB actually is there, and it is.

I have followed this guide to code my VO (replaced LMA with NFRM):

Any idea to what I am doing wrong or what I am missing ?
Did you default code the NFRM after writing to the VO?

Well, I think so. But I'm no expert at all.

After adding +MUEB to the VO i did the following steps:

F6 Back
F4 Process ECU
Select CAS -OK
F2 Change Job
FA_Write -OK
F3 Execute Job
F1 Change ECU
NFRM -OK
F3 Execute Job

Correct procedure for default coding the NFRM after VO edit ?

No, the steps you listed are writing VO to CAS and NFRM. After that you must close out of ncs expert, re load it, process ecu and press nfrm and F3 sg codieren.

Morning Charles

I'm struggling and wondered if you could help me. What software is required to do what everyone is talking about in this thread?

Trying to do this job on my 2009 E93 M3. Lights are all installed and oddly enough most of the functions worked but there is some flicker from the brake lights on startup.

I added +MUEB to both CAS and NFRM. Default coding is occurring because it resets the settings for Lighting in the CIC to factory defaults each time I try it. NCS shows FRM2.

The CIC shows:
Right brake lamp malfunction!
Left brake lamp malfunction!

I was trying to get this done correctly by using the VO method in case of any future issues with the car, but for some reason those bulb checks are still occurring. Any thoughts on what is happening?

Hi to all,
I'm in the project to add LED LCI tail lights to E92 from 2006.
Lights installed, FRM replaced by FRM II (and also tried FRM 3) but I have an error when I try to code the new FRM.
I can write the FA in the new FRM, but when I code it with the original car FA (the car had $522 from factory), I have an error (different error between FRM II and 3) - See attached,
Someone can help please ?
