Compressor bypass ev?

Is this a common failure item? I was just reading someone saying it should be replaced along with both pressure converters. Those are both new on mine. UT the EV hasn't been changed since I got the car. Now I have had plans to get a mityvac for a long time so I can just check the vacuum system but considering these vacuum valves are really cheap I might just want to replace it.

Yes, replace the EV along with both PCs and all the vac line.

Keep in mind that "electronic switch over valve", "pressure converter", etc are sometimes interchangeable and confusing. I'm still not sure which is which, but one is easily checked, the other not so much. Best to just do a complete vacuum system replacement. Here are some good links for you:
