Help with iDrive. Panicking.
Hi all
First post so apologies if this is in the wrong place. Was in the process of installing an MMI style box for my CCC headunit and all was working fine until I had to disconnect the quadlock in order to correct a connector I’d connected the wrong way up. I turned the connector around and once I reconnected the quadlock the headunit didn’t power on. I’ve reverted to the factory wiring harness and still nothing. Everything was fine beforehand. I also no longer get the red light on the optical cable. Could this just be a blown fuse and if so which should I be looking at? Thanks Mark Last edited by Mflynn11; 11-16-2022 at 03:01 PM.. |

Was the battery disconnected during the process?
If not, yes, you could've blown a fuse. Check the fuse diagram by the fuse box (at the back of the glove compartment) as they vary by year. |
Appreciate
