19" rims?

Thinking about getting 19" rims in the spring

235/40/19 - front

255/35/19 - rear

I have the B12 kit

Any concerns about how the lowering kit would affect size & width

should be fine iirc. I think you can go wider in the rear on the E90.

Which rims?

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-alzor-pa...four/730-1kt2/

I know the B12 kit is about a 1/2" lower than the sport/ m-sport suspension(s). So, I was curious about 265 or even 275.

I have a buddy with a stock 335is and he runs 265's, but there's no way he would able to run 275's on there with 19" rims.

I might opt for 18" rims and have more room to play with..

I'm running style 313s on B12s. I ran 235 up front and 275 rear without any issues for a year or so. Recently downsized to 265 rear purely for aesthetic reasons.

In terms of clearance and actual functionality, nope, at least not for me (pre-LCI e92). For me it there was no contact whatsoever.
But my sidewall stuck out about .5cm outward of the rim lip. Perfect for slight curbing protection, but I wanted to keep it flush, that was why i downsized

Here's a pic of the 275 when it was on

Not trying to hijack the thread but I have a small question regarding 19 inch wheels. I got 19x10 +38 VB3 to go on the rears for my Pre-LCI E90. Stock suspension. It should fit without spacers, right? Shop took a look at it and said with 275s it would rub. I got continental DWS06+, I don't think they stick out any further than the wheel.

Question being, is it gonna be super close to making contact on the inside of the wheel? I could see it was close to one of the suspension components, but not making contact. Mechanic (Pepboys) mainly works on trucks here so I wouldn't expect them to be professionals in this field.

Those 275's look pretty sweet on there. Profile = 30 or 35?

With a 30 profile are you worried about hitting potholes and cracking a rim?

I have yet to after 6+ years of ownership and I drive into Boston etc. Granted I have decent quality(BBS) rims. If you buy inexpensive rims you may damage given the low profile. You can bend any rim regardless of quality if it is bad enough.

Not anymore than I already was. The stock ratio for 255/35 vs 275/30 calculates to a difference of 3.5" vs 3.2" of sidewall. Negligible imo

I currently have Style 189's on my '09 335 with PS4S' 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 on stock suspension with lowering Spring Perches on the front. I want to go with 19" wheels but Nashville roads are terrible and I like the ride of my higher profile tires. I'll be watching to see what you decide on and am leaning toward 235/40/19 and 265/35/19.

I'm now running my 19x8.5 and 19x10 setup as mentioned here (275 in the rear). 5mm spacers were needed on the back, 10mm had some rubbing. Will be trying a 7mm spacer here soon. Looks fine with 5mm but I want to be as wide as possible without rolling fenders.

I think I have 15mm spacers on my fronts but none on my rear. After a pothole took out my custom rims, I went back to my old stock rims and still sits super aggressive dues to the kw v3 setup I have
