Xdrive fitment help/opinions

I recently sold my lci e90 for an lci e92 m sport and kept my 3 piece wheels for it

The e92 however is x drive and the fitment is pretty aggressive, fits the e92 better but a little but I'm wondering if there's any downsides of running this set up on x drive

Specs:
19x9.5 et29 235/35
19x10.5 et30 255/35

My goal is a "track stance" or oem plus fitment, I'm wondering if it's worth lowering the front a bit to achieve this
The 3 piece wheels rub the fender liner slightly so lowering it would not help, I will try to heat and bend the liner back a bit to see if that fixes the problem

Also will be rolling the rear fenders

Am I better off selling them and getting some m sport wheels for it to more easily achieve my goal? What do you guys think?

On xDrive it's very important that the diameter of the front and rear wheels remains within a 1% difference and that it doesn't deviate more than 3% from original equipment. (*)

Original equipment setup for 19'' is 225/35 and 255/30 (less than 1% diff) whilst yours is 1.9%.

Moreover, you rear tires are 3.9% bigger than original equipment and your front tires are 3.7% bigger than original equipment.

In short, you're all wrong IMHO.

(*) "According to the experts at TireRack, the tires on xdrive cars can be different sizes from original equipment (but must be within 3% of original tire diameter), and they need to be within 1% (not to exceed) diameter size of each other to not cause problems."

Thank you for the info I totally forgot about this, I knew there was something limiting what sizes you could run I just had forgot!

I already took the wheels off I just put them on for one little test drive!

I played around with one of the calculators and it seems the closest I could get them from each other would be right around 2% with new tires

This is the current front set up (pictured) I currently have compared with oem, we are going off of just diameter right? Would that difference be just 1.1%?

If so the fronts are fine coupled, with a 255/30 rear the closest I can get between them is 1.8% so I guess it doesn't matter much!
Guess we are going back to the oem plus look!

Side note, anyone want to buy some style 199s while I search for m sport wheels

That'll look great. Change that rear tire to a 265/30 and hit the road!
You'll need some camber/fender adjustment, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Do you know why they would state within 3% of OEM rolling diameter? I’m currently running 225/45/18 which is almost 5% bigger. I love that my speedo is now bang on and I can’t see how the transfer case could know a difference

No, sorry, i don't know. And I don't know why this should impact the TC either.
