Valet Map
I need to take my car in for an alignment and would like to load a valet map of some kind to limit the chances of the tech wrecking the car. I am running E30, Spool FX-150 HPFP, and a custom tune. Is there an MHD valet map or option that will work? I was thinking of just reducing the boost by gear of there is no dedicated valet map.
I also noticed that XHP has a valet map. How does a transmission valet map work?

Bump! XHP has a dedicated valet option which claims to limit power. How does a TRANSMISSION tune affect engine HP? Maybe it's manipulating some of the feedback back to the engine.
Or would using MHD's Torque per Gear be a better option? |

They state it "locks down the transmission and prevents launch control" . Seems to work well from the video they posted

I used XHP valet mode. While it did great on the transmission, it seemed to still allow excessive boost. Maybe XHP combined with limiting load in MHD would have been the optimal valet solution. Either way, I got my back from the dealer without a scratch.
