I'm assured they are, but obviously you need to remove the OEM bulb and socket and put this in place then plug in to the existing wiring harness. I will get confirmation on plug details to confirm and maybe someone can double check.
_ink has also done his using the Lux equivalent which look virtually identical so maybe he can also enlighten us. If there is a problem which I don't think there will be we will send them back for a refund. When they arrive we can test on some ones E9x LCI before sending everyone's out |

I was able to confirm details.
The Option 3 for LCI E9x is definitely plug and play so let me know if you're in. The LCI OEM reverse light is shown below, You can see the arrows pointing to the spade connector tab. The two OEM spade connectors are removed from here then plugged into the new connector tabs on the LED cables. This photo is the new reverse LEDs & plate screwed into place having replaced the OEM light bulb and socket plate shown above using the two OEM screws: Note scale is approx double |

Cheers Don
So just unbolt the taillamp and unscrew the old and screw in the replacements? If so please jot me down for a set (dont really need em, but what the heck!) I must admit I havent investigated this wasn't sure if it involved something crazy like putting the lamp in the oven to melt the glue and splitting the lense apart etc? Since you're a VAG guy and a LED guy, do you have any LED upgrades for a 2012 VW passat? I was hoping for the driving lamp/fog light and interior kit plate lamps etc? |

I am still working on the interior kit. I am a bit fussy but almost there and I will let you guys know.
Yep the install for the LCI reverse light seems very straightforward so I'll put you down for one. I will check on the 2012 Passat for you. What model (e.g, 3c2) and engine type is the passat? Can you please PM me your email. Thanks Last edited by donR; 01-10-2016 at 06:56 AM.. |

It looks to me like the E90 LCi is option 2, see #5 at:
http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E9...ng/rear_light/ If you pop the boot on your car and remove the flap where the reverse light is you should be able to unclick the assembly, take it out, remove the OEM reverse bulb like the one shown below and put in the new LED one. Should take less than 5 minutes. As mentioned I've tested on my E91 and no errors. It is only the E92 LCI that has two extra screws to take out and comes with base plate, though I wouldn't call that one difficult either. |

I'm just wanting on the shipping quote for all the parts then I will divvy it up and email everyone instructions. EFT would be best.
I have quite a few joining in over at ozaudi http://www.ozaudi.com/forums/car-par...oup-buy-2.html So shipping should end up being quite low between all of us |

I've sent payment details to everyone. Let me know if anyone didn't receive the info.
I've been told parts will be ready next week if I can make payment ASAP. |
