DTC problem, car traction loss

Whenever I drive my car, even the slightest amount of gas will make the car slip. I started happening a month ago, but I let it go by pressing DTC and no problem. But last night I was driving with have dtc off and the back end swerved back and forth. Also now twice with dtc off, the yellow brake lights, abs, and traction control light comes on. It goes off after restarting the car twice. Don't know what it is, have a warranty with cars protection plus, need to know what is wrong with it. Any ideas? 2008 328i

Bad bushings? Similar thing you described happened on my m3 and I changed the RTABs. How many miles on your car?

Currently my car is losing control as well with traction all the way off and e85 mix. But I think mine might be because I have too much power and shitty tires lol.

The car has 72,300 miles on it. I haven't checked the bushings, I called the dealership to give me a call about bringing it in. I have 75% tread left on my bridgestone tires, with style 29 BBS wheels so I do not have TMPS sensors but I don't think that would cause a problem.

Wait, are you disabling the DTC, or it's happening on its own that you get yellow ABS, etc.? If it's the latter, could be your DSC/hydro is failing. Mine came and went at first, then it was yellow full time, indicating a total failure with 5DF0 and 5DF1 codes. I heard it is $4,100 at the dealership. I watched the YouTube and diy'd....

Hey Stephen - I had the same issue today:
I have a 2007 335I (143k - coupe). Live in San Francisco and the car is parked on the street. It rained the night before and I was leaving for Tahoe in the AM. Within few miles of city driving, I noticed the wheels slip a bit each time I hit a bump or was turning a corner but I ignored it since the roads were slightly wet and didn't see any lights on the dash indicating there was a problem. Once I got on the freeway, the problem continued in a larger scale, at higher speeds (~60mph), each time there was a bump / small pothole, the car slipped a quite a bit. About 30 miles in, the ABS, DSC, Brake Warning Light came on the dash. I found the next gas station and pulled over. Double checked on the*tires*and everything physically was fine. I decided to not drive to Tahoe and return home...very carefully on the freeway, with the same behavior on the vehicle.

What was done on your car to resolve this?

Have you checked for codes?

The T/C with bumps is somewhat normal, but will be greatly exaggerated by worn shocks and suspension components which yours likely are at that mileage.

LWN1F - Yes. It was a a $10 part that fell off near the ball joints. They stupidly thought it was my rear tire and they replaced that as well. Idiots.
Sorry for the super late response.
