Had a good night with no issues.

Ran the car on 17psi until I got beaten by a barra. Then I just went to map 3 30psi for the night.

Antilag works really well but the timi g would never recover until 2nd gear.
It would be on 0 degrees until I shifted.

Thr rest of the night I just launched without antilag. Tyres were dropped pretty low at 25psi.
They did not spin at 17psi antilag, no spinning or chirping it just hooked.

Lost to 3 cars during the night.
First was unknown barra, but i had 0 timing in 1st gear and in 2nd I was gaining very quick but didnt catch him.

2nd car was 1000hp or maybe 1200hp supra manual.
I was ahead after the launch for 50m then he got in 3rd gear and just took off.

3rd car 900hp lsx turbo vu ute t400
I got out first then he slowly went past and beat me 2 car lengths.

There was 4 or 5 cars that were faster at the event but I didnt get to race them all.

Car went really well. Having grip really helped as no other cars had a chance for the first 50m even the 100hp ones. It was so easy to just hold it flat and just bang up a gear knowing it would just work every run.

Really happy with the racing and how my car went. There was a fair few having a look at my car when I was in the pits wondering why it was quick and so quite.

Next step is taking turbo kit off and making a single scroll manifold and 4 inch exhaust for 7675 turbo.

Congrats mate. Sounds like the car is running great and putting down the power. More in it with timing etc to iron out. Awesome to see it out on the strip after missing so many. You must be smiling

Yep. I didnt think it would but the car moves easier with less throttle.
I wouldn't believe it if someone told me.

Excellent news Brule. I am glad that you had a good night without any major issues. You will need to give it a run at the strip next time a meeting is held up there.

The drag strip wont be used this year. Nothing to do with rona.
All they care about is getting 1 top fuel round up here each year. Its cancelled due to rona but they wont put on a local meet. Closest track is Alice Springs.

You should call the complex management and see if they can run a Test N Tune to see what interest they get.

Tested the tune I used at roll racing.

10 degree advance
20psi
launched on 10psi

Did 1 hit.
car ambient said 37.5
dragy ambient said 33

2.28 60ft Spinning a little less then the 19 inch wheels but I pretty well spun for 100m
1/8th 8.56 @93.03
1/4 12.64 @ 122.53

Went quicker 60 ft and et on less boost and on 19inch tyres

Grip is the real issue.

Your 60' times are killing your 1/4 times Brule. For every tenth of a second you can reduce your 60' time, you will reduce your 1/4 time by 2 tenths. So a 1.7s 60' time would get your 1/4 times into the low 11s and your speed (122 mph) confirms that where you should be. Recently, I got a 11.47s run at 120 mph. With a powerglide and good traction, you should be able to get your 60' times down into the 1.5 - 1.6s range and times into the 10s. Some MT ET Street radials will get you there.

I ordered et street ss from st george tyres. They are dodgy as and I never got sent any tyres.
Had to do a dispute with the bank to get the money back.

It is a bit hard on the street. I got a 2.16 today which is a pb. 19 40 275 cheap tyres
Ill put 17s back on next as the 29s are scrubbing a bit now im changing rear compression and rebound.

I did 126mph the other day 25psi 6 degrees.

Its pretty hard launching with a small turbo. it just spins if you put the throttle down to early on the street.
Its only taking around 14psi before it spins in the first 20m or so.

The g forces at the track were much higher when taking off from 40km then what I have had on the street so 60ft will go down. How low depends on the tyre really.

Did some 60ft testing on a 3 different tyres.

19 275 40 Winrun cheap tyres PB 2.16 60ft
Done approximately 50+ launches

17 245 45 Bridgestone RE003 PB 2.25 60ft
Done 20+ launches

17 275 40 Hoosier radials PB 1.97 60ft
Done 3 launches

Hoosiers were the quickest which was expected.

1.97 60ft on 3rd attempt
3.75 sec 0-60mph
5.03 330ft
1/8th was a PB but I let out well before 1/8th
1/8th 7.71 84.88mph normally traps 95mph on 20psi

Video of PB run

No more mucking around.
4 inch dump pipe and 2 inch wastegate.

Might cut the exhaust a little bit.

Tried to go fast today.

Pb et and mph but still in the 12s lol.
Sorta not funny I want to go faster but that was it after 3 goes. other runs were 12.1 12.3 at 125 and 126 with boost under target.

Accidentally warmed the tires up so they were ready but its just hard to hook on non drag strip places...

1/4 12.02 @128mph.
1/8 8.11 @ 97mph

The front half was slower then my pb on 17psi but obviously made up a bit in the back half with 26psi of boost.

pb 1/8th is 7.71 @84mph with 5.07 330ft and 3.75 0-60mph at let iff early like real early.

Todays run..pb but I want faster obviously.
