quiet and yet performance, stock and yet thrill
so here I am, new owner of BMW and as I have already learned NEW spender on the up keeping
I got my 335d due to power and thrill, wishing to make it more fun but I am not into the imitations of M car from outside or making my ride loud. At my age (and believe me, even when I was young) my ride has to be original and yet pop your eyes out when it moves, I want it to be quiet and enjoyable (after all my age and ladies do love thrill but we need to be able to talk, they need to be pinned to the seats and yet be able to grab that coffee from the cup holder when i let my foot off the gas. I want my Moonlight to look as I got it from the dealer and yet perform something close to the M, I do have to say this, I do not like to make my car look like M and yet have little baby under the hood but I do enjoy to have my baby look like she is a baby and yet perform like the man (M) . Not into lowering the suspension(Canada, we do have snow) plus our streets are not the race track, it does not matter how stiff are you (considering the suspension, you can't take 90 deg corner going 100 km/h but going fast and soft is my thing and yet I want to make sure I don't and up in the ditch So basically looking for some experience people giving me some good positive feed back on what I can do and what will not make any sense. Once again, I love how my car looks like, I don't want to pretend I am the M but I would like to perform somehow close to M, surprise is the key, look like the baby and yet act like a Man Please let me know, be positive, I know I am asking for a lot but hey, after all it is the forum of people that loves their cars and thank you for taking the time to think and letting me know, keep in mind 335d, it does kick, now I want it to kick and show |

some m3 suspension parts are transferable to i cars, perhaps d as well. There are subforums for the d car and suspension, maybe you do some browsing and searching there. There are vendor forums as well, may give you an idea on possibilities.

sense made by this thread is equal to zero...
On a side note. Try changing your muffler bearings and installing an O pipe. Really helped for me Can be found here: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=48 http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=41 |

grzes, TLDR is "too long, didn't read".
I think if you posted some pictures of your car, people would be able to help. We could see what your car looks like now, and we could make better suggestions on how to make it look better.

no one reads anymore, lol. I didn't read all of it either, but on the 3rd post he explained himself pretty well:

nice and soft, yet perform like a beast. well, typically this is hard to do. but if you have a nice budget, you can get a double-adjustable coilover suspension, which will let you change the ride stiffness from hard to soft. I believe you'd be interested in something from AST or JRZ, or Eibach's double adjustable R2's. then add a few M3 bits, and you should be good to go. |

Best advice you can get and to the point: LOOK at others builds and see what you like. For example in your case look at attached PaddyMcGrath made his look mean yet clean and simple
