I don't follow what you are saying.
The toe measurement is identical on both sides and the nsr camber is 6 minutes within specification. Where do you think there is a problem? |

I just thought that with the adjustable arms that they should get them even not one -2.09 and the other side -1.42 degrees as surely the left is going to wear more than the right

It is less than half a degree different and the specification you are allowed almost a degree.
You could argue that with adjustable arms you could get them more balanced if you are prepared to pay the chap to spend more time doing it but he has got it within the required limits. What are you trying to achieve by fitting adjustable arms? These are only static figures that are deemed to give acceptable performance but in the real world with a bit of wear in the joints the actual alignment values will vary depending on suspension loading. If you are not happy and paid your hard earned cash why not return to the garage and ask them to attempt a better side to side balance but who is to say if the better wear will be by setting at 2.15 degrees or 1.7 degrees? |

Both sides are within spec, less than half a degree different, so just don't worry about it. Yes, the left is likely to wear faster due to higher (negative) camber...but nothing ever wears exactly symmetrically. |

But the fact remains that the angles will change as you drive along the road anyway and we still don't know why adjustable arms were fitted in the first place. If you are just going to set the car up with stock BMW angles why fit adjustables? Because you can I guess! Doesn't state what year his car is but let's hope it is not one with the unequal ride heights otherwise he will worry! |

He's got another thread in the "UK" section about the same thing; others there said he should go back and get it evened out, so I think that's what's happened. However, he did also say that the car was pulling to one side, so...
Anyhow, it's all good! |
