Lightbulb Under seat subs - in phase and out of phase... possible?

I currently have an IDQ 10" mounted in the trunk wall at the moment... fiber glass stealth built... yesterday I drove with the back seats down due to luggage and the bass sounded sweet as... clean... punchy... you name it... I thought... it never sounds like this with the seats up... it sounds crap and muffled... and an IB build is not an option because I need the seats down now and again...

So my question is... as I am running the sub in reverse polarity and out of phase for it to blend in with the system neatly (thanks Kaigoss for that advice last year)... can I do the same with the under seat subs? Can I run one out of phase and the other in phase to have the best of both worlds? To avoid losing too much mid-bass or swaying to out and out bass?

Would the amp be okay with this or would there be some kind of fault code?

I have the technic harness so my plan is to divert the juice from the jl slash v3 600/1 to the under seats... I have my eye on some Focal under seat subs at present.

We all know that the car is a difficult environment to work with for audio but it sounded much better with the sound in the cabin.

Cheers

if you run them 180 degrees of each other, they will cancel out.

The reason the bass sounds cleaner with the seats down is you dont have the seats muffling the sound.

If you don't have a ski pass cut one out. I don't notice a big difference with the seats down vs just having the ski pass open.

I have my subs facing forward sealed off from the rest of the trunk and with the seats up there is still plenty of bass.
