BMW Performance Configurator

I was at the dealer (Budds) getting some oil and saw this CD there called
BMW Performance Configurator Original BMW Accessories.

Not sure if this is old news or not but I thought it was pretty cool. It's an app that lets you pick your car and add different BMW accessories so that you can see what it looks like and print out a list of part numbers. Here are a couple of pix.

I remember getting that as a dvd from bmw a while ago for free in the mail (part of their promotion to get you to buy performance stuff I guess).

I'll see if I can find it and if there's no "do not distribute" copyright on it, I'll post up an iso of it.

Edit: hmmm a bit big to post up an iso...1.15 GB...I'm sure if you ask your dealership they'll give you one for free. It's the "BMW Performance Configurator: Original BMW Accessories" dvd.

You can use filesonic, megaupload, multiupload etc

Winrar as well as many other software out there can split the file into small chunks.

I dunno how fast your upload bandwidth is but if you can attach, would be appreciated

Guess I should of said it was Free. It was just laying on the counter so I grabbed one.

I rared it and it's 11 files 100mb each. If some one has a spot for me to upload it, I can.

Huge thanks for the upload, but part 9 isn't downloading for me, says it's "temporarily unavailable". The rest downloaded fine.

Hello,
there is a CRC error in the part03 file. Only one file is damaged, the
dach-lack.map in the \data\cosy\data\ecom\wbbm\images\980x460\3er\E90LC ILimousine\040 directory.
Sadly enought this is the main file for the BMW 3 Sedan standard front side view

Can someone please re-upload this file (should be around 35k in size).
Without this file the configurator cannot be used for the BMW 3 Sedan.

Download the files and extract onto your hard driver. It's not small that's for sure. Run the Configurator.exe file and it should launch. I find it runs a lot faster on the local disk then the dvd, but if you want just burn the contents on to a disc and it should work just the same but slower. Good luck.
