Is the car completely totaled?

I'd keep the whole drivetrain. Differential, axles, driveshaft, transmission, anything that costs money. Steering rack. You're an 07 with bearing wear ledge issues I'd even steal the eccentric shafts. Pump is pretty cheap and you most likely want to put in a new one anyway.

Cut up that e90 and store the body parts in the basement. Ditch the rolling chassis.

Water pump
Thermostat
Starter
Alternator
HPFP
LPFP
Injectors
Coil packs
Door actuators
Rear window regulators

Maybe keep this:
Amp
Radio
AC compressor

Body panels take up a lot of space and are easily found.
Maybe the rear bumper only.
Engine/trans if you have space.
Rest of the parts, meh.

Footwell module
CAS module
DME
JBBF
Calipers might be good for a conversion later?
Maybe headlight switch if it’s LCI and HVAC controls, side view mirror glasses.

Things like e brake assembly, brake pedal assembly etc etc. are pretty useless to hold onto.
There’s a bunch of modules and other stuff in the car but they rarely go out and unless you’re selling the parts, you might be use them in a few years or never use them.

I have a couple of totes full of random e9X parts and they’ve been sitting for a few years.

Sensors bolted to the engine are good and don’t take up space, if you’re getting rid of the engine.

I would put the car together and sell as a whole, but that's me. If the interior is the same color, swap driver seats. Keep center console lid or sell.

Serf pretty much nailed everything elsI would put the car together and sell as a whole, but that's me. e. Possible dtml pump.
