N51 Spark Plug Question

So my 328 is experiencing misfires, managed to pull all 6 of the spark plugs and found that they where all black with slight buildup (that point to the engine running rich?).

Would you say these plugs need to be replaced and could be the cause of the misfires or would this be considered normal?

Covered under the extended SULEV warranty?

At 155k, not covered.

Will have to pay for everything out of pocket. However spark plugs are relatively inexpensive.

Just don't want to replace them if it's not required. Money can be best spent elsewhere

You should have had the dealer replace them for free 5k miles ago.
