Oh. Well that makes a little more sense I'm nearing 111,000 miles and haven't had anything out of the ordinary for a 335i, either N54 or N55. Water pump died at 80k miles. Everything else was normal maintenance, such as spark plugs, belt, etc.

Not high mileage yet but have a 2011 335 N55 at 88k, water pump at 80k, cracked expansion tank and OFHG leak at 78k. Cracked charge pipe when working on the OFHG in 30 degree weather. FRM3 died when doing the water pump, replaced free under the extended service bulletin.
I imagine my response above would be better served to be a poll. Probably dozens of others with identical n55 experience (aside from the charge pipe but that was user error) it seems. |

2011 335i xDrive N55 (no oil cooler)
Just hit 57000 this weekend. Also just did water pump, belts and pulleys, leaky oil gaskets, service recall for blower motor, new battery and car will be needing 4 new brakes this spring as well as spark plugs when I hit the 60k mile marker.
