Diameter/Piping for Secondary Cat Delete?
Hello
Haven't found someone in CA who's willing to delete the secondary cats on a 07 328i. I haven't looked around much, but have a fair amount of research on the cats themselves Right now the mufflers deleted, & y pipe for resonator. Sounds deep and real nice, tons of burbles and some light pops I'm looking to bring the pops out more so it looks like I'll have to DIY cut and weld. Can anyone clarify the diameter of steel pipe I would need, to fit in the place of the cats once they're cut out? My research has led to mixed results ie 3 in or 2.25 in etc The angles also seem awkward. If anyone can recommend the exact pipes and fittings to purchase, I would be very grateful Or if any experiences, please share! Thanks! |
