I've searched, I've read, and yet I still can't quite comprehend. So here's my question.. I got a 600-4 amp off a friend of mine. Ideally I'd like to just tap into the wires in the harness at the trunk (if possible) and run my right/left doors on 2 of the channels and have each under seat to each of the other channels. Is this possible to do? If so how can I do it? Can some please just give me a clear answer? Or quick "cut this/splice this, plug this here" type of answer? I can figure out +/- and all that just would like to know how to make it work. It's not a fancy amp, it's not going to be a PnP option. It's a power acoustik ov4-600. I know it's cheap but it was free and if I can get just a hair more sound that will be just fine for me right now. Hopefully one of you guys can lead me in the right direction! Thanks!!!

The amp also has low level RCA and high level RCA inputs if that helps at all.

Don't use any tapping . Get a 6 channel amp and Technic harness.
Or get a Technic Harness a forget about the rear channels.

The output of the Head Unit in the Hi Fi system uses differential outputs
which means the there is a a plus and minus signal with no common ground.

You have to have and amp capable of taking this kind of signal which is essetialy
a reduced speaker out.

You could tap the Inputs to the amp but I don't know why you would do that since
you have to disconnect the existing speaker wires anyway for the amp to feed
those locations.
