BMW Service Advisor position available at Wagner BMW of Shrewsbury

Purpose:
Identifies the need for, sells, and schedules service work. Acts as a liaison by representing the BMW center to service clients and the client's interest to the BMW center.

Requirements:
-Proven record of achieving exception customer satisfaction
-Above average energy level
-Availability to work five to six days/wk including evenings and Saturdays
-Desire for a long term career with a growing organization
-Personal and professional integrity
-Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Service Advisor
-ADP computer experience is preferred, but not required
-BMW experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:
-Responsibly help BMW owners care and maintain their vehicles
-Establish a critical and ongoing relationship with BMW owners
-Inspect vehicles and apply proper resources to accurately identify and verify vehicle mileage and service needs
-Responsibly support BMW center goals for service
-Repeat new vehicle sales by providing a premium after-sales experience for each client
-Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend service to clients, identify repeat repairs for expeditious conclusion in customer’s best interests
-Maintain constant contact with technicians ensuring expeditious and informed updates for the customer
-Responsibly promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories
-Write and verify accurate repair orders and include supporting documentation
-Serves as a liaison between the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Parts personnel, Technicians and Warranty Administration

Arustik and I both worked for BMW in sales....I know cars inside and out whats the starting package....

hiring some one from here would probably boost service sales and customer retention...

I would find some one that knows the product well but has not been a advisor before as most of them have horrible habits...your CSS rating would deff rise lol...

We already have someone relatively new to the job who we are training. I have no doubt that someone else new to the job would be good at it, but we just don't have the time right now to train a whole lot. We need someone who is already strong in the position.

i feel bmw owners would make better SA because they know the cars and they know how it feels when they bring their cars for service.
