Hi all, new to the forms and a new BMW owner. I have a 2006 330i w/ sports package. Picked it up about 3 weeks ago and I'm still learning about all the "weird" things it does, or should I say, how BMW has strange ideas on what a button should do according to it's icon.
Right now the car will "cycle" the trunk latch whenever I remove the key fob. Sometime it will unlatch (I get the warning) or it won't.

I will try to make sure it isn't me inadvertently hitting the trunk button when I remove the fob.

If not, any ideas?

My trunk latch did things like that when my dealer broke my junction box electronics by accident during a recall.

Thats not normal. Either you are hitting the button, or something is broken.
