Yes I assume Mystic CT where the famous pizza place is...I'll be going there for a wedding in August from NYC and I want to take the train there and rent a car while I'm there.
So I need to know: #1 are there rental car places in Mystic #2 are there taxi's from the train station to get to the rental car places |

I live in Branford, CT. about 40 miles west of Mystic. However, I do know much about the area. Mystic is a tourist destination. It is a very small town. The train station is actually not in Mystic, but close. There is not any car rentals in the immediate area. The closest large cities to Mystic would be Providence, RI; Norwich CT and Stonington CT.
You may want to take the train into New Haven (train station) and rent a car at the train station and then drive the 50 miles east to Mystic Just my opinion |

mystic has a pretty nice sea port from what I hear, not sure how big.

I went to a wedding in mystic (elihu island, amazing spot) a few years ago. Basically, you go into Boston, Hartford or Providence and drive from there. Just rent a car, can be pedestrian unfriendly, especially when you want to leave the small village for something (a place to stay, etc)

Was in Mystic/Watch Hill for a wedding a few weeks back, first impressions:
- Very East coast (duh), the architecture and everything - Humid as hell, but nothing like NYC - Very pretty town Mystic & Watch hill - Mystic pizza sucks, talk about a place milking everything for what it's worth! |
