Certianly different looking! Does it get much air through that?
I doubt you would have any warranty problems, they would have to prove that the intake caused the problem! And they are pretty reasonable normally...

How can you fit it underneath the bumper, wouldn't it be scraping on the ground?

Well technically this would be in the front bumper, not underneath.

Certainly very different to the norm. I'm surprised to see the stainless pipe there as I thought the air flowing through their would get hotter.
Love your hand drawing. I'll have to use that to describe flat spots on tyres to my children!!!! |

So did you remove the left fog light assembly?
Would make sense to grab air from down there like the M3: I agree with vgr02, SS looks good but plastic or CF would conduct less heat from your engine bay to the air inside that pipe.
