I use them on my T/A and they are one of the best mods I have. You may want to check out the NT05's that are the newer Nitto street performance tires as the 555's are being fazed out I believe.

If you're in the market for new tires I'd check out Vredesteins. Awesome tire. Pretty popular here as well. I was considering Nitto 555's as one of my options beforehand, but ended up with the Vreds.

No regrets.

Where did you purchase your Vredestein's from? I can't find them at the major retailers.

I bought them from HI-Performance Designs. Check the dealer locator here to see if there's an authorized dealer near your location.

Otherwise, you can order them online or have them shipped easily enough. That's the only drawback with Vreds, as they're not carried by most common tire supply companies leaving you left with shipping or ordering online.

Well worth it though. I think they're fantastic. Pretty affordable too.

OP,

What will you be using the tires for? We would need to know that to further help you choose the proper tire for your style driving.

Bumping this old thread as I am in need of new tires, and I have been looking into buying Nitto 555. My choices for radial tires are very limited because of the size I need (265/30/19). Anyone have other suggestions for good/high performance tires? I will (or at least plan) track the car a lot this summer so I want something that will stick on the ground very well.

TIA
