He's running AEM gauges and they're digital. Also, he has a custom setup in his dash trim.

If you want analog (needles) stack is a good one. I'm planning on installing an ashtray dock to fit three gauges on my car.

Gauge dock/panel:

Stick with AEM or Defi gauges, most reliable also cost a fortune lol. Never heard of stack do most people that run gauges on E9x's run those Marvin? I've yet to actually find a E9x that is running gauges besides Blurple and Ryan's old car. Very few guys monitor their stuff and leave it to OEM dash.

The ashtray holder is neat, then just decide which gauges are necessary. What do you guys vote I need, oil temp, coolant temp?, ???.

According to EAS, they've used a bunch of Stack gauges on E9x M's and non-M's.

Personally, I'm going with some Defi gauges. I love the way they look.

Oil temp, coolant temp, and the third is whatever you want. I'd probably do something like fuel pressure or oil pressure. You can do battery voltage if you want.

All I can say is if you want Amber, stay the hell away from Stri X-line.

I think they only come in the standard color... I would like a matte black finish if it was doable... Wheels are the one thing I can't grasp haha. I want the wheels Bill had on his M3 at the photo shoot. Those are some nice rims.

Ps. Thanks so much for the JB4, a couple days is awesome.

Amber preferred, interchangeable I guess that's ok. Which ones did you like Ryan? I remember you looking a while back.

Stri looked the best and had all 3 gauges I wanted in a consistent style...it was damn near perfect if it wasn't for the fact that they were red, not amber. No other company seemed to offer the 3 gauges I wanted in the same style, short of going digital and just displaying a different screen for each one, but I would have only done that if I had a nav screen (otherwise it would be the only digital display).

Yeah a lot of people on the forums have ST coils and I don't think I have seen or heard a negative review about them. Especially for the price. You can't beat the price for some coils

Anyone interested in a lightly used OEM BMW Performance Knob for Automatics? Also, I've still got my brand new Rogue Engineering Toe Arms for sale as well.
