The Life of My 2008 E92 M3
Some of you might remember me picking the second E9* M3 to be delivered in the United States:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123851 In April of 2010, I decided that not only would I detail my car, but I would wet sand the paint to remove every last trace of orange peel (http://************/24so888). The result would be a mirror-like finish that polishing alone could never accomplish. The entire process took over two hundred hours to complete, but the results speak for themselves. Oddly, I finished all the changes to this car only several months before picking up my next M3, which you can see in my signature. Every change that I’ve made to this car revolves around creating a finished product that would resemble an OEM model. WOW! What a writeup! Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed reading through this one! A 200-hour detail of this caliber must have been quite the project, I'd love to do something like this one day. And I thought I had a problem with buying too many detailing products - you've taken it to another level! I'm envious of your cabinets.
Those after shots a simply stunning. Do you still have the E46 too?

How can you live like that being so unorganized with everything and how could you even attempt that without the proper tools and materials?!
Obviously kidding - that's about as well organized and well stocked a garage I've ever seen! And the car - flat out amazing! Exceptionally well done! |

I'm astounded. Wow. Great job!
PS: Why do you have Vredesteins on the front and Michelins on the back? |

Nice....weren't you having a big debate a while back about wet sanding the orange peel? Is this done at your house or a shop?
