Painted Grills & Window Trim

Got around to plasti-dipping the grills and window trim. Came out a little more textured than I would have liked, but its not bad. I think it'll just be a temporary fix for now, until I can afford a better option.

After:

Unfortunately I broke two clips on the window trim in the same exact spot on both sides. However I found this thankfully.

How long does plastidip last? Will it go through a car wash?

If sprayed correctly it'll last a while and be fine to go through a car wash. There are videos on youtube of people spraying plasti-dipped parts with a power washer without any damage or peeling.

Only thing to really take off plastidip are rock chips. Otherwise it lasts. I just bought the OEM grills for mine.

Looks good, but I think I prefer the chrome on your car for some reason.

I've had my grills plastidipped for almost 5 months now and it's actually better now than when I first did it. After it cures for many weeks it gets stronger and smoother so it'll last against anything
