BMW Performance Induction Kit

I've seen this mentioned from time to time but no one seems to have published any comments yet... I have a 335i and want to make it sound like it should, but also want to keep the warranty intact. I really fancy an induction kit, but if it doesn't make it sound like a CSL then whats the point? Has anyone got one fitted, if so does it sound propper... does it add any power...? Ta.

i think someone just recently did a review on this. Look back a few pages on this UK forum and you will find it

Thanks CD, I hd read that but didn't really get a feel for the impact of the induction kit alone and it wasn't a 335i. From the thread I was kind of feeling the impact was a little to subtle given the cost... any one else got any thoughts?

Yep, you want a set of dual cones or the BMS Single ( actually a K&N product )which I have.

Lovely turbo spooling sound, sharper throttle response and extra power at full boost, especially if tuned.

I would post up a picture but dont know how to.

Check out Burger Motorsports website for details.

There is no BMW Performance induction kit for the N54 135/335i engines yet. It is rumoured that this kit will finally be released in May this year

The BMW induction kit you've seen is only for the N52 engine (330i etc)...

As YvesD has said, there are other options - BMS dual-cone intake, AFE dual-cone intake etc... Have a look at the US tuning forum for the details (as they're far more advanced in the intake side than we are here)
