sooooo, i'm kinda looking to change the rear of my car. I currently have the m3 lip spoiler but i think it looks too subtle (see pic below):

so, this brings me to two conclusions...

high-kick performance spoiler

or

CSL trunk

Both will look awesome. The only thing to think about would be if you want to have an xtra trunk and deal with fitments or if you just want to stick on the performance spoiler.

I'd get a performance spoiler and paint match that diffuser like that second pic, that looks hot.

I have always thought the CSL trunk was the coolest looking spoiler for the e9x, but I really only think it looks good if it's all the same color

I have the performance high kick replica and i love that too. I would have gotten the CSL, but didn't feel like spending the money on getting it painted and installed

in any case, whatever you get will be better than the m3 spoiler. It's too small and you can barely notice it. I've never been a fan of it.

Do it. Even I approve the spoiler instead. Seeing many CSL trunk makes me not want to get it, I would only get it due to light weight.

Yeah performance spoiler is definitely the easier, cheaper route..

lol i was going to, but mines a 328...a bit skeptical on how that would look with a single exhaust outlet

I hear you, i just wanted it at the time just to add to the rear, but it rarely adds anything. CSL is kind of a PITA..

dayummm, car looks nasty...in a good way of course...but yeah the thing is, your car has quads, plus that diffuser just makes everything look poppin. mines as 328 so i dont know if i can pull it off as well.

if you don't want to deal with having an extra trunk and getting it repainted and want the CSL look you could always just get the csl spoiler..most of those come painted already and there are a couple vendors that have them.

and there is alway the M tech spoiler

I like the painted m3 spoiler on your ride. The suble in your case looks cleaner. Besides everybody and their mother has the CSL trunk.

Hey us 328s can have quads too

I usually vote csl. But I'm going to say performance instead, im in love with the aggressiveness of the performance spoiler!!

This is what the CSL trunk will look like if you get it. One day if I get bored of the trunk, I plan on getting that Perf Spoiler though. Either way you go, it will be sick.

If you must get a trunk. Get the amuse or arkym. I can't stand the curve of the csl.
