I'm not but, they look really nice. A bit pricey for sure and I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money over something like the Forge ones but, turbosmart does make some good stuff and these look really nice.

I like how it's set up to be able to switch from diverter valves to blow off valves

Forge DV are less expensive and offer the same benefits IMO. The turbosmart just appear to be more flashy and have the option of being "louder". The forge DV are more popular still.

I'm interested as well, though the price is definitely bothersome. The thing that attracts me to them is the option to switch between vent to atmosphere, vent back to intake, or 50/50. In other words, it gives me the option to vent to atmo when I want to show off, or be completely silent if I'm driving my folks around or something. All other times, just run 50/50 for a good compromise.

If I could get them and an ER charge pipe for less than $500, I'd probably be all over it. Unfortunately, it's probably more like 650-700 for the combo, which doesn't feel worth it. =(

If anyone actually runs these, please do speak up.

I am running the turbosmart bovs on my 335is. Currently setup in 50/50 mode and they sound great! Still running with the stock charge pipe though and considering going to a ER asap. The stock pipe just looks very cheap compared to the bovs now. Iwill post a video clip tom and then another one after i install the ER.

I'll stick w/ my Forge DVs + ER CP -- Perfect combination IMO since the Forge's are nearly bullet proof & if the springs ever were to wear out from use, I can buy a Service Kit + New Springs for less than $30.

I went ahead a bought the turbosmart bovs and installed them back in April. I was going to do a review but I didn't have time as I was only back in the USA for a short time.

I don't have the pictures with me but I had fitment issues with the ER charge pipe and the BOV closest to the firewall when running the dual bov setup. The problem is mainly due to the way ER offsets that bov prevision at a weird angle; It's pointed toward the SHOCK TOWER.

If it was inline with the other bung it would fit perfect. As a result, the little horn piece on the BOV ends up getting pressed up against the engine bay wall. I fixed it by getting a piece of silicone tubing (same type that comes with the kit) with a slight bend in it to get away from the firewall. If you run divert setup on that side, it may or may not come in contact with the wall, I wish I had pics.

Interesting, ty for the info. What other charge pipe would be similar to the ER?

Any CP will work as long as the bov flanges are not canted towards the shock tower were clearance will definitely be an issue if running the dual BOV configuration.

The verdict is still out as to there being enough clearance running the dual plumb back/diverter configuration with the ER.

If you do not special order the ER, then the DV flanges have 1 straight up and the other is angled (sounds like towards the fireware). If you order directly from ER, place your order over the phone & specifically request two straight-up DV mounts to avoid clearance issues. They shouldn't give you any trouble & I know someone that ordered it that exact way.

I looked at them, but they are very tall and I didn't have enough room under my Injen Intake for them to fit, so I went with AWE's from Helix

http://www.helix13.com/3-series-bmw/engine-exhaust/#go

They are similar, bov or recirculate - no 50/50, but the blow off sound is subtle not too loud, sounds nice without being a turbo honda sound.

Nice, I wish I knew about this option. This will definitely benefit those who want a similar setup.

I ordered an ER pipe about a month ago -- It was custom in the sense that I'm prob one of 3 people (the other 2 prob being race teams) that ordered a CP with no meth bungs and a DV setup, anodized. I emailed Fred back & forth a couple times, and while he didn't respond back as quickly as I had hoped, when he finally got back to me he went very in depth in his emails & explanations to any questions I might of had.

If you have any questions feel free to let us know we are a authorized dealer.

I know Fred is around but he's in and out of the office all the time but when he does get back to you it's usually an excellent reply and in depth.

Be that as it may I tend to be a little faster at asking questions as that is what I'm here for.

Let me know if I can help you any further instead.

Subscribed for more info about the Turbosmart + ER CP, and maybe a video!

Is Turbosmart the only BOV/DV that does 50 50?
